By sourcing from 20 small, family-run farms across Dorset and Wiltshire, The Dorset Meat Company has built a reputation for supplying some of the finest and most sustainable meat and dairy products in the UK.

The Online Butcher of the Year award evaluated key areas such as product range, provenance, website functionality, and customer service. Importantly, the quality and reliability of their home delivery service, including the packaging used, were central to the judging criteria.
We are honoured that our thermal box liners play a vital role in this outstanding service. The Dorset Meat Company prepares every order by hand, carefully packing their meat and cheese selections in our temperature-controlled liners. These liners are placed inside recyclable cardboard boxes, accompanied by ice packs, to ensure the contents arrive in perfect condition.
High-Performance Thermal Box Liners for Food Packaging
Our thermal liners, manufactured from PP0038 material, are fully compliant with Commission Regulation (EU) No 10/2011 for materials intended to come into contact with food. With the correct use of ice packs, these liners also approved to FDA standards, can maintain a chilled temperature for up to 36 hours in an ambient environment. This performance is essential for companies offering mail-order food delivery, including meal kits, artisan foods, and perishable goods.
Not only are our liners highly tear and puncture-resistant, but they also offer a cost-effective and eco-friendly alternative to bulky or less efficient packaging materials. And because our liners are free from animal by-products, they are fully suitable for use in vegetarian and vegan food delivery services, making them a versatile choice for today’s evolving food landscape.
