Background
Our customer, a manufacturer of high-quality precision grinding discs, serves the automotive and aerospace sectors. They were shipping their products in cardboard cartons, each containing 100 units, to customers worldwide.
Customer's Challenge
During global shipping, exposure to damp conditions led to moisture ingress, causing the grinding discs to warp and become unusable upon arrival. The client required a solution that included:
- Comprehensive moisture barrier
- Multiple custom sizes to fit existing cartons
- Unique shape with rounded corners
- Resealable access to allow users to remove discs individually
Our Solution
Our team collaborated closely with the client to design a Zipper Pouch made from high-grade moisture-resistant aluminium barrier foil laminate. This solution offered:
