Print Capabilities

Printed Pouches

The styles of pouches which Protective Packaging can supply include flat pouches, stand up pouches, retortable pouches, all with or without zip-loc, tear notches and euro slots.

Protective Packaging specialise in printed pouches and can supply either Flexography or Rotogravure.

Flexographic process – Polymer plates are used for this print process on a gearless C.I printing press and the quality is very good, due to the continued development and technology used to manufacture the polymer plates.  Protective Packaging can offer 1 colour up to 8 colours. This process is excellent for simple line and tone designs.

Once printed, the material is then slit and placed on a pouching machine.

Rotogravure process – Instead of using polymer plates, this process requires copper engraved cylinders which print inline. Rotogravure is the most precise and sophisticated process it allows high quality photographic and fine vignette designs to be printed accurately and gives an excellent finish to the pouch. Protective Packaging can offer 1 colour up to 8 colours.

Once printed the material is then slit and placed on a pouching machine.
