Sale Communities under 8 teams played Partington AFC on the 22nd October, both games were spectacular for Sale Communities as the Eagles played first winning 9-0 and then the Falcons played winning 9-1. Obviously the lads were over the moon with these results.

Both the Sale Communities under 8 teams played last weekend against NJ Wythenshawe who proved to be one of the stronger teams at this age group. Sale Communities Eagles played the first of the 2 games which was an even battle all the way until the last 5 minutes when 4 goals were scored. Despite still demonstrating the passing game the Eagles were outdone by 3 long ball goals with the goalkeeper unable to stop the great shots, The Eagles did however pull one back near the end with a great passing move between Josh Williams, Cieren Roberts and Sam Gough to show winning isn’t everything its how you keep going until the end!

The Sale Communities Falcons then took to the field in what proved to be the best match of the day. NJ Wythenshawe were very good at 2 things, losing and pressuring our players and playing long balls to their handy forward player. With these tactics and Sale Communities passing game the match was a real end to end thriller ending 3-3. Reece Hitchin was the star of the show scoring twice for Sale Communities and a special mention for goalkeeper Jaiden who also played a major part in the result.

The next fixture for the Sale Communities Eagles and Falcons will a friendly tournament against Monton AFC, St Johns and Wythenshawe Amatuers at Sale High School.
